Once upon a time in FIT...
Just before attending to the "Dark Glamour" exhibition in FIT, I discovered these different models in a gallery just in front of the main access of the museum. It was very exciting because it was in a very small space which gave a kind of intimacy. It was such a private time between models and visitors.
Different stunning models were presented. All of them had a different style and a different story to tell.
It sounded to be as if the FIT was reading us a book untitled: "womens faces" .Then, the exhibition become a cartoon. They were like a magic atmosphere: Models seemed to be mystery birds, or princesses. A part of them stand like the illustration of Haute couture !
Just the time of a walk, the FIT introduces us it's understanding of fashion throughout unique models.
The emotion created by clothe's proximity makes us understand the necessity to replace fashion in its mainly task: bringing people together!
Models were like real characters and the public was allowed to go very cloth to them. There were a big closeness with the public and it let us discover the different materials used for these dresses.
It was like doing an experimentation and making fashion closer to people.
It made fashion alive!
