My girlfriend is a model

How do "non-model-mens" react when they have a model girlfriend ? When it comes to love and modeling nothing is doomed to failure. So much "model/non model" couples had a beautiful love stories :

"After I had a crush on her, I discovered she was a model". ( N+S= 3 years relationship)

"I had a crush on her and I already knew she was a model". (C+C= 2 years relationship)

"She became model after the beginning of our relationship". (S+F= 7 years relationship)

At any case, having a model girlfriend is teasing non-model boyfriends EGOs.

Dating a model isn't really easy, especially when it's coming time to deal with Love and Modeling on a daily basis. It's the beginning of conflicting reactions.
Being proud, feeling uncomfortable, loosing self esteem are so many reactions which can happen in a model/non-model couple.

Being from a different environment in a couple is a rich experience but handling it is much better! So how do mens feel when they are dating a model?

The most predictive reaction for a men is feeling proud of dating a girl who attracts people attention. They have a proud allure in walking on the street with the model girlfriend on their side. So, dating a model can bring mens more self-esteem.

The second reaction is more apparented to intimidation, I explain myself :" -She's a model, I am not, so, sometime I feel like a shit". Dating a model can be the occasion for mens to develop inferiority feelings. So dating a model can put mens down !

The third reaction is the one of the extremist boyfriend.
Being model implies dealing with nudity, being harassed by people in the street, shooting with other male models, looking sexy when it's necessary, doing lingerie shows, traveling a lot, being available 24/7 (so not available for activities with the boyfriend!).
Some mens don't really have an understanding of this job, so they have extreme reactions . They show themselves possessive, jealous and prevent their girlfriend to express in their job. So, dating a model can ignite extreme feelings in mens mind.

Hopefully, non-models boyfriends are capable of good things too ! Driven by love, they can have the reaction which make things much more easier: it's the Understanding.

The understanding that modeling is a job.
The understanding that modeling implies discipline and time.
The understanding that fashion is a tough universe and that being from another environment can bring something healthy to the couple.

Those reactions are in conflict in models boyfriends mind. So, dating a model isn't so easy. But, dating a girl before dating a model has maybe much more Meaning.
